JBrand co-founder, Susie
Crippen, has launched a new
line of jersey dresses called
Riller & Fount - a name she
came up with when looking at
an antique child's quilt.
Together with best friend and
former restaurateur, Marlena
Ruiz, the two wanted to stick
with basics, so that any
woman would be able to wear
the dress out a couple times
in the week without having
anyone notice. These dresses
are all about starting with a
blank slate and dressing them
up with accessories.
Already asked about the
comparison to jersey
designers, Rachel Pally and
Pegah Anvarian, Susie
promises that her brand will
focus on classic styles and
colors, and will stay away
from prints. "What we really
wanted to create for this line
was a dress you can wear two
to three times a week and no
one would ever know,"
Crippen said. "They just know
you look good." |
